Who is Alf Systems?

Alf Systems is the manufacturer of two self-tapping fasteners, both of which have won Best Product in Design News Magazine- the Alf Bolt and Nut and the Ultralok Oversized Bolt.

Alf Bolt and Nut- (Advanced Locking Fastening System)
A self tapping bolt which has a partially threaded nut and creates a 100 percent thread to groove fit. It will not loosen because of vibration

Ultralok Oversized Bolt
The Ultralok Oversized bolt is a self tapping bolt which cuts new threads in stripped out holes in one step.

The AlF bolt and the Ultralok meets or exceeds the mechanical properties of the tensile strength of a grade 8 fastener and is made of 4140 alloy steel, heat treated case hardness of Rockwell 50-55, and a core hardness of 33-39.
